More than any other skill, cinematography is best learnt through hands-on practice. Daily camera exercises and multiple portfolio projects will lead to long days, late nights, and a breakneck schedule, but our intense curriculum will lead to a mastery of the camera and lighting techniques expected from a Director of Photography in just 3 months.

ACCREDITED CINEMATOGRAPHY EDUCATION
The Cinematography Program has been approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. InFocus Film School also has Education Quality Assurance (EQA) designation, meaning that it exceeds quality assurance standards set by the province of B.C. in regard to student protection and quality of education.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To be accepted into the Film Production Program, students must:
- Meet the terms of InFocus Film School’s English Proficiency Policy
- If under the age of 19, submit proof of successful completion of grade 12 (or equivalent)

Class FP-71: February 17, 2025 – February 13, 2026
Class FP-72: April 28, 2025 – April 24, 2026
Class FP-73: July 7, 2025 – July 3, 2026
