GRAPHIC DESIGN DEPARTMENT HEAD
Leila Singleton is a hands-on art and creative director freelancing in Vancouver. Drawing since she was a few months old, she had planned to study painting but fell in love with graphic design. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, with honors, in the latter discipline from the Savannah College of Art & Design.
Leila started her career as an ad agency art director in Colorado, built a DMO’s in-house design division in San Francisco, and then went solo, creating award-winning works for clients at the University of California, Berkeley, and for San Francisco’s iconic Stern Grove Festival Association, among others.
Over the years, Leila has amassed more than four dozen honors from organizations such as Creative Quarterly, GD USA Magazine, Graphis, and more. Her work appears in over two dozen publications, and even graced a lamppost banner in Times Square, New York City, in an exhibition by the American Institute of Graphic Arts.
