GRAPHIC + DIGITAL DESIGN INSTRUCTORS
GRAPHIC DESIGN DEPARTMENT HEAD
Leila Singleton is a freelance art / creative director and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design from the Savannah College of Art & Design.
A seasoned judge with more than a dozen advertising and design competitions under her belt, she’s also reviewed nearly 200 student portfolios at events throughout North America. Art education is a passion for Leila: before joining InFocus, she taught drawing, tutored, and volunteered as a career day presenter, discussion panelist, and lecturer.
Pauline Lai is a UX/UI designer, educator, and brand strategist specializing in cross-cultural design. She earned her design education at the University of British Columbia and Langara College, and also holds a BBA in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Active in the design community, Pauline was on the founding committee of Creative Mornings Vancouver and is a long-term executive for Design Professionals of Canada, who honored her with their inaugural Community by Design Award in 2020.
With more than 15 years of web design and development experience across three countries, as well as a keen interest in user interface and experience design, Pereowei Osekamebor brings a rich technical perspective to our team of instructors.
Pereowei is currently the web specialist for Atlantic Colleges Atlantique, where he heads web and graphic design for the organization.
Students benefit not only from Rachel’s real-world experience, but also from her expertise as an instructor: she’s taught in classrooms since 2016, and has offered one-on-one graphic design tutoring since 2012.
A deep interest in education led Paulo to pursue teaching early in his career. He has amassed more than a decade of classroom experience, both in person and online, covering subjects such as advertising, branding, copywriting, package design, agency management, and art history.
