If you have a story to tell, InFocus Film School is committed to reducing barriers you are be facing in achieving your dream.
We may offer bursaries or partial scholarships to eligible, qualified students based on outstanding previous work or financial need. These scholarships are awarded on a case-by-case basis as funding allows.
Students who wish to seek a scholarship or bursary will be asked to demonstrate their skill or passion in their selected field of study. Scholastic achievement and attendance standards must be maintained for any student who receives a scholarship.

All scholarship applicants will be required to:
- Complete an application for one of InFocus Film School’s programs. All diploma programs are eligible. Applicants must meet the admissions requirements for their selected program.
- Submit a written or video essay introducing yourself, telling us why you have chosen your field of study, showing us your passion for storytelling, and explaining why you should be awarded a scholarship.
- Meet all deadlines in the enrollment process and maintain acceptable attendance and academic records during your studies.

ELIGIBILITY AND DETAILS
- To be eligible for a scholarship, students must complete a program application (including payment of the application fee), submit all documents requested by admissions advisors, and complete the scholarship application form.
- Scholarship awards start at $500 and increase based on financial need, previous work, and passion for the art.
- Students who have already been awarded scholarship(s) by InFocus Film School are not eligible.
- Amounts are in Canadian Dollars ($CAD).
- All funds awarded will be credited directly to the winners’ final tuition payment(s).
- Scholarships cannot be applied to programs currently in session.
- Scholarship winners must maintain acceptable attendance and academic records throughout the program. Should a student withdraw, be dismissed, fail a course, or receive disciplinary action for attendance or other policy violations, the scholarship will be forfeited.
- Scholarships are only valid for the program and start date for which the student originally applied.
- Scholarships have no cash value and are not transferable.
