CAPILANO UNIVERSITY PATHWAY
We have partnered with Capilano University to offer eligible InFocus graduates the option to transfer credits to several of Capilano University’s programs. Film Production and Writing For Film and Television graduates will now have the option of pursuing university education and certification with a reduced time and cost.
Eligible graduates who meet Capilano University’s other admissions requirements are eligible for placement into the following CapU programs:
- Advanced Arts and Entertainment Management Certificate (AAEM)
- Arts and Entertainment Management Diploma (AEMD)
Completion of either program allows international students to apply for a post-graduate work permit.
FILM PRODUCTION GRADUATES
Graduates of InFocus Film School’s Film Production Program will receive the following benefits should they pursue further education at Capilano University.
Advanced Arts and Entertainment Management Certificate
This certificate program normally requires 2 years of post-secondary education and 365 hours of verified experience in the arts and entertainment industry. Graduates of the Film Production Program will meet the verified experience requirements and will be able to enter the AAEM immediately after graduation from InFocus.
Arts and Entertainment Management Diploma
Film Production Graduates will be granted credit for the following courses, saving them both time and money in completing their university diploma.
- THTR 160 (Technical Theatre Fundamentals)
- AEM 143 (Arts and Entertainment Applications II)
- AEM 251 (Industry Seminar in Arts and Entertainment Management)
For international students, this represents savings on tuition of over $5,100.00 and opens up eligibility for the maximum 3-year post-graduate work permit.
WRITING FOR FILM + TV GRADUATES
Graduates of InFocus Film School’s Writing For Film and Television Program will receive the following benefits should they pursue further education at Capilano University.
Advanced Arts and Entertainment Management Certificate
