Lorraine Hodgins is a dynamic visual artist and educator with over 30 years of experience in both the creative and digital arts. A graduate of Sheridan College’s prestigious BAA Interpretative Illustration Program and Interactive Design course, Lorraine has taught across Canada, collaborating with artists and students at institutions including Capilano College in Vancouver, George Brown, Centennial, and Humber Colleges in Toronto, and the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design. Her passion for visual expression is constantly growing, and her work has been featured in publications such as 3×3 Magazine and the Vancouver Sun. Constantly pushing the boundaries of her craft, she continues to explore new media and tecniques with other Creatives.

MICHAEL CARSON
Michael Carson is a creative professional with a Bachelor’s of Creative Arts from Yorkville University and an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design from Mohawk College. He is the president and creative director at Raven Media Corp and an award-winning graphic designer. Michael has been teaching for five years, working as a graphic designer for ten years, and has over twenty years of experience as a photographer. His expertise in design and visual storytelling drives both his professional practice and his teaching, inspiring the next generation of creatives at InFocus Film School.

NAOMI BUCHANAN-NGUYEN
Naomi Buchanan-Nguyen brings two decades of expertise in User Experience, Graphic, Web, and Instructional Design, sharing her knowledge as both an instructor and professional across various educational institutions in Canada. Her hands-on teaching style and distinct perspective cater to students from different backgrounds, proving particularly advantageous for individuals in the neurodivergent community.
She is excited to join the remarkable team of educators at the College, Naomi aims to equip students with the technical aspects of the Design industry while emphasizing the importance of design fundamentals. Her unique approach and commitment to inclusivity make her a valuable addition to the institution.

Rachel Dian is a graphic designer and educator with a background in web design and a passion for print. She studied design at Ryerson University and the University of British Columbia. With more than 15 years of industry experience, specializing in branding solutions and creative direction for small businesses, startups, and non-profits. Her clients include the British Columbia Federation of Students, University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine, and BC Green Party, among others. Her design work has enjoyed press on websites such as Buzzfeed, Wedluxe.com, Ruffled, Rocky Mountain Bride, and more.

KARAM HANNA
Karam Hanna is a marketer, entrepreneur, and educator. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Lebanon’s University of Balamand, and has stayed current with the fast-paced field of digital marketing through certifications from Hubspot Academy and Google. Over the past 15 years, Karam has worked for start-ups, international businesses, and in digital projects management across multiple industries and categories. He’s worked for companies such as American Express Global Business Travel, and has also founded companies of his own, among them digital marketing agency Onlinetraffico. Whether working for himself or others, Karam always develops solutions, manages teams, and grows revenues with an approach that balances both data and creativity.
Karam has taught marketing and business at schools across Canada. He brings his real-world experience into the classroom so that students learn more than just theory, and his focus transcends mastering programs and platforms: he teaches students to connect with their target audiences, and to consider both marketing and creative perspectives. Karam has a passion for inspiring multicultural learners, and encouraging them to persevere through their scholastic journeys.
