SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
The cinematic arts transcend borders, and InFocus Film School wants your voice to be heard.
International students looking to study at InFocus can now apply for financial assistance to help get their stories heard. Our World Voices Scholarship offers up to $10,000 in support for eligible students.
Your film school scholarship will allow you to enter the program at a reduced cost, allowing you to earn a diploma in filmmaking, 3D animation, graphic design, VFX, screenwriting, or game design at one of Canada’s premiere screen arts institutes.
HOW TO APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP
To begin, complete the form on this page. You’ll be connected with an admissions advisor who will be able to provide more details and further directions on how to complete your application.
All scholarship applicants will be required to:
- Complete an application for one of InFocus Film School’s programs. All diploma programs are eligible. Applicants must meet the admissions requirements for their selected program.
- Submit a written or video essay introducing yourself, telling us your story, and explaining why you want to study at InFocus Film School. A portfolio of past creative works can also be submitted.
- Meet all deadlines in the enrollment process and maintain acceptable attendance and academic records during your studies.

ELIGIBILITY AND DETAILS
- To be eligible for a scholarship, students must complete a program application (including payment of the application fee), submit all documents requested by admissions advisors, and complete the scholarship application form.
- Scholarship amounts will vary based on program, financial need, previous work, and passion for the art.
- Students who have already been awarded scholarship(s) by InFocus Film School are not eligible.
- Amounts are in Canadian Dollars ($CAD).
- All funds awarded will be credited directly to the winners’ final tuition payment(s).
- Scholarships cannot be applied to programs currently in session.
- Scholarship winners must maintain acceptable attendance and academic records throughout the program. Should a student withdraw, be dismissed, fail a course, or receive disciplinary action for attendance or other policy violations, the scholarship will be forfeited.
- Scholarships are only valid for the program and start date for which the student originally applied.
- Scholarships have no cash value and are not transferable.
