STUDENT LOANS + GRANTS
Many InFocus Film School students use government student loans to fund their education. The agency you apply through depends on your province of residence. For example, if you’ve lived in British Columbia for at least 12 months, you’ll apply through StudentAid BC, which offers:
- No interest on student loans if you make your payments on time
- No repayments required until 7 months after graduation, giving you time to launch your career
- Automatic grant assessments when you apply—non-repayable funding that can reduce or even replace your loan amount
Best of all, applying is free, and approval is based on financial need—not your credit history—making student loans an accessible option for aspiring filmmakers.

As we are an accredited, Designated Learning Institution, many banks will provide student lines of credit to study at InFocus. Talk to your bank to find out if you qualify.
