We learned everything from the basics of a 3 act story, how to write a compelling short story, lighting techniques and tricks, learned about cameras, audio gear, lighting gear, how to produce, how to pitch a film, and much more. The teachers were excellent. All of them either were in the industry currently or had many years of experience in the industry, were very knowledgeable, and have current real-life advice.
But, the best thing about the school was how hands-on the program felt. Within the first day, we were holding cameras and learning about them. The classes, the exercises, the projects, and especially the teachers were amazing, and I am so happy I had a chance to go to this school!
