    Short Film Script

Considered a gateway step and a calling card of the industry, short films are the perfect medium for writers to learn the process of translating a story to a script.

    Web Series Episode

Experience working in a writer’s room and collaborate in writing one episode of a web series. You are then on set, involved with a practical, real-life production as the webisodes are produced.

    TV Pilot + Bible

An original pilot script is still considered the best route to gaining a toehold in the industry. Develop and write your own 30- or 60-minute television pilot script along with a supporting series bible.

    Adaptation Script

Brand recognition is increasingly important in the industry as everything from books to board games become screenplays. You are individually assigned a short story to adapt into a script.

    Documentary Outline

Factual television has grown to be one of the largest and most popular genres of TV. You will learn how to develop and write an outline for a non-fiction series–the key document for pitching your show to broadcasters.

    Pitch Package

To be a successful screenwriter you must gain the skills to sell your scripts. You will gain hard producing skills such as budgeting and scheduling to build a pitch package that will entice studios and get your scripts made.

    Feature Screenplay

One key goal of this program is for your script to emerge as a realistic contender for production. Write your own screenplay for an original, marketable feature film, the true mark of a screenwriter.

    MOW Outline

In addition to your feature film screenplay, you will also develop and create an outline for an original MOW, or Movie-of-the-Week, a key source of employment for film writers.
